If, on the season finale of Entourage, the fate of Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) looked uncertain, in real life, the two’s relationships are peachy, and they have even been spotted house-hunting for properties in the Hollywood Hills this month.

“They have combined their friends and want a great space to entertain,” said a source. “No marriage yet, but they are definitely moving in together.”

The two started dating after she made an appearance on Entourage where she played herself last year.

On the Entourage season 6 finale, with Jamie-Lynn out of sight (remember, because of the whole Facebook thing), Turtle tried to sleep with the hot co-ed from the university, but he later realized that he was still in love with Jamie-Lynn. Since she wasn’t answering his calls, he trooped to New Zealand via a 14-hour flight.

But just as he was about to take off, Jamie Lynn called him up to stop him since she didn’t want to try and make the long distance thing work. When he finally landed in New Zealand, he decided to take another long flight, this time, to meet up with Vince (Adrian Grenier), who is in Rome to film his next movie.

Entourage: Season 6 Wrap-up

By admin · Comments (0)

This season of Entourage
was pretty bland if you ask me, especially for main man Vince (Adrian Grenier), who after the Gatsby premier early on didn’t have much to do (except of course periodically banging random chicks left and right). It was all downhill plot-wise for Entourage’s go-to-guy, and down the road, he was reduced to accompanying friends to STD clinics, going to charity golf tourneys, and worrying needlessly about his security. Damn that monsoon that pushed the production of his upcoming film 12 weeks.

For the finale, though, he flew to Italy to film his next movie, so Entourage season 7, at the very least, guarantees to have more Vince on it. Now if that’s a good thing or not, I’m not to keen on saying.

Elsewhere on Entourage season 6, it’s probably E (Kevin Connolly) whose storyline moved the most and whose character development gained much ground. Essentially, the season toyed with the idea of Eric and Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui). Throughout the season, the two had mishaps and misunderstanding, notably in the form of a young, doe-eyed neighbor, with whom for a while E thought he can replace Sloan. After everything, however, it’s still E and Sloan who end up together. And yes, E is with a new agency.

Speaking of agencies, there was also movement that happened with the much beloved tandem of Ari (Jeremy Piven) and Lloyd (Rex Lee). Lloyd was hell-bent on getting a promotion, but Ari being Ari had decided to put him through unimaginable obstacles, including weight control and being even bossier before he gets it. Finally reaching his boiling point, Lloyd accepts an offer from a rival agency. But because of a buyout, Ari was able to fire Adam Davies and at the end of the day have Lloyd back - as an agent.

There was also much conflict on the issues-laden Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and Jamie-Lynn Sigler relationship, primarily stemming from Turtle’s inadequacy in dating someone like her. There was also the matter of the sorority girls who went into the trouble of stealing his undies.

No premiere date has been set for Entourage season 7, but HBO has renewed the series as early as season 6 kicked off, so it’s definitely coming.

Vince is leaving for Italy to begin filming soon but it seems like he might be going solo…

Drama initially says yes because he’s free without persuing an acting career, but after a change of heart, Drama decides to go in for the Melrose Place audition.  He completely kills it and leaves confident he will not be joining Vince.  Then he suddenly gets a call saying the network loves him… but he’s too old for the role.  Good news is the network wants to create a show for Drama to star in and they’re giving him a nice holding contract in the meanwhile.  Nice.  Drama gets to join baby bro.

With Jamie-Lynn gone, good old Turtle initially lies to the boys about sleeping with the hot co-ed.  We find out later he lied and when he goes back for attempt number two, he’s unable to get into things and is clearly still in love with her.  He decides if she’s not answering his calls, he’s hopping on a 14 hour flight to go visit her in New Zeland.  Right as he’s about to take off, Jamie Lynn calls him and tells him not to come… she doesn’t want to try and make the long distance thing work and she doesn’t want him to give up on making something of his life.  Ouch, he’s stuck on the plane.  When he finally lands, he decides to take another ridiculously long flight to meet up with Vince in Rome.

E is too busy with his real job and persuing Sloan to even consider going.  E decides to surprise Sloan by kidnapping her and taking her to lunch to get her back as his girlfriend.  The lunch ends up going disatrous when she finds out why he took he there after she had to cancel plans and demands he return her.  On the road home, E gets pissed, pulls over, and demands to know why Sloan won’t take him back.  She’s afraid he still won’t commit and would sell her out for the boys again.  He proves he’s ready by whipping out a ring and proposing!  She says yes and thw two head to the airport to say goodbye to Vince.  She offers to let him go with the guys and he goes running up in the plane…. before popping out and saying he’s kidding.  Thank god, we just saw the look on Sloan’s face and it wasn’t pretty.

We meet up with Ari in couples counseling as he’s trying to convince his wife that she should put up $12 million of her own money for him to be able to buy Terrance’s business.  He also needs to convince her it’s a good business deal and he’s not just out for revenge.  After a classic Ari speech, she’s convinced, and the deal can go forward… that is until Terrance throws a last minute wrench into the deal.  He demands his legacy, the name TMA, remains.  Ari finds it a deal buster and walks out on the deal.

Terrance comes by Ari’s office and actually apologizes for firing him and tells him he wants Ari and no one else to buy it because he knows Ari is the only one that can take his legacy forward the next fifty years.  After the apology, Ari agrees to keep the name and the deal is signed.  Ari heads into the TMA offices with a paintball gun, shooting the people he plans on firing.  Ari fies Davies, but can’t find Lloyd.  Lloyd shows up at Ari’s office to quit, only to find out Ari promoted him to a real Asian…err agent.

Oh, and before we forget to mention it, there’s some silly plotline with Matt Damon creepily tracking Vince down to get some money out of him for some kid’s charity.  He uses celebrities such as Bono and Lebron James to eventually lure him in to give $150,000.  Wow that was lamer than the break in plotline.

On tonight’s episode of Entourage, Eric plans a special lunch for Sloan that doesn’t go as smoothly as he hoped. So he’s back with Sloan after it didn’t work with Ashley and another girl who’s not exactly a saint? Meanwhile, Ari tries to convince his wife that buying Terrence’s company is not a personal vendetta, while Turtle is doing everything he can to get over Jamie-Lynn; until he finally decides to make a grand gesture to win her back.

Elsewhere on “Give a Little Bit” Drama resolves to give up acting for good and turns down a chance to do over his audition (which was painful the first time around) for Melrose 2009. Matt Damon and Lebron James, finally, strong-arms Vince to get involved in Damon’s charity. Is it just me or has Entourage been awfully silent on what Vince had been doing? Or maybe nothing exciting has happened to him of late. And no, the break-in and security storyline doesn’t count (after all, that proved to be more about Turtle than him).

On the last episode, Drama was all set to audition for Melrose 2009, following the sort of glitch with his former engagement in the last episode, but two people unexpected make their arrivals. Meanwhile, Ari’s former partner and former boss at the agency Terrence (Malcolm McDowell) surprisingly offered Ari a chance to buy him out, but of course he was a little suspicious. Elsewhere, Eric found out something not exactly nice (read: STD) about his latest fling, who Drama had first dibs on some months ago.

So he went to the doctor with Vince (yes, that’s the thing he was reduced to these days, I guess, accompanying friends to STD clinics and then having sex with the clinic’s nurse). In the end, he was forced to make a choice about his social life, while Jamie-Lynn decided to break something prior to her farewell, and Turtle was caught off-guard at the airport. Oh poor Turtle. Hint: Facebook and “Do you have any idea how many people request to be my friend?”

I miss Ari and Lloyd.

On Sunday’s episode of Entourage, E (Kevin Connolly) visits the doctor’s office after getting some not so nice news from Drama (Kevin Dillon) about his latest fling. Meanwhile, Ari (Jeremy Piven) investigates Terrance after he surprisingly offers to sell Ari his share of his agency. Finally, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) prepares for Jamie-Lynn’s departure, while Drama’s emotions get the best of him during his audition for Melrose Place 2009.

On the last episode of Entourage, the boys started off discussing the merits of thinking about banging another woman if a man has a girlfriend - case in point: Turtle. E wasn’t exactly happy with the Ashley situation, because she had a tendency to just go off without telling her what gives. But of course something is always wrong in this paring, because of Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui). At least Turtle feels guilty about it.

Later, E came over and they sorted out whatever’s bothering them - by letting Ashley read his emails so they can have an open and honest relationship.

Meanwhile, Drama was thinking of doing Melrose 2009 - huh - because its producer happened to think of him for a particular role. Johnny called it “a return to glory” but we know he likes to exaggerate. But wait, doesn’t he have an existing contract with Five Towns? Yes, he does, so he calls Lloyd (Rex Lee), who seems sick on his bed. Drama’s not so happy with the news of Lloyd leaving Ari but he wants him to get him out of his Five Towns contract still.

“You are dead to me,” Ari screamed to Lloyd over the phone. “Die, die, die.” Lloyd seemed like he’s fitting in well, but sooner or later he’d have to deal with Ari. And in the end, it’s Ari who delivers and Drama leaves Lloyd - but not if he can help it.

Finally, the only thing that looks stable on Entourage, Jamie-Lynn and Turtle, looks like it’s not going to be so soon, especially after she drops him off and sees the “sorority ho’s” that are eying them.

The guys all meet up at a diner, when Drama runs into a producer that fired him from the old Melrose. However, when the guy thinks Drama would be perfect for a role in the new 2009 reboot of the show, Drama wants in and out of his miserable Five Towns contract. He calls his agent, Lloyd, only to find out Lloyd has left Ari. When Drama calls Ari, Ari is shocked and pissed to find out Lloyd left him for Davies. He offers to help Drama and heads to Cokley’s office to get Drama out of his contract.

Lloyd, meanwhile, begins his first day at Davies’ office and jumps right into work getting the new Melrose Place people on the phone and trying to get Coakley’s people on the phone. However, Ari calls Lloyd informing him he’s dead and begins his war. He goes to Coakley’s and gets Drama off the show and makes Coakley agree to never take Lloyd’s calls ever again. Drama tells Lloyd he’s sticking with Ari as his agent and heads home, only to find Lloyd there waiting for him. Lloyd gives him a speech about how he believes in Drama’s talent, does Ari? Drama heads into Ari’s office and demand he let him go if he’s not keeping him for his talent… Ari tells him good luck with Lloyd.

E, meanwhile, goes to visit Ashley after the night of drinking with the boys. In order to make things work, Ashley asks E to be able to look at his emails. Crazy pants thinks that E is having an affair with his receptionist. After discussing things with Vince and his receptionist, Brittany, E goes to break up with Ashley over some dinner. She, of course, goes crazy. E and the boys meet up with Brittany and her hot friends for drinks. Goooo E!

Turtle, meanwhile, is feeling guilty about thinking about the sorority girls from last week. Jealous Jamie Lynn insists of driving Turtle to school where she sees the other girls and instantly gets jealous. Turtle thinks he’s in some sort of love triangle and isn’t happy. (Un)lucky for him he might just get out of it when Jamie calls him at the end of the episode saying she got a gig… in New Zealand.

On episode of Entourage, Drama “It’s Make-up” Chase (Kevin Dillon) will try to get a part on Melrose 2009 and will ask Lloyd (Rex Lee) to get him out of his current gig on Five Towns. Meanwhile, following the latest blowout from his assistant, Ari (Jeremy Piven) goes to war against his former assistant to get Drama out of his contract.

Following their ongoing (and multi-episode, in fact) trust issues, Ashley asks E (Kevin Connolly) if she can read his emails (which I’m sure are all juicy) so that they can have an open and honest relationship. Finally, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) feels a little guilty about his love triangle with Jamie-Lynn and a UCLA co-ed. This, of course, stems from the sorority prank that was blown out of proportion on the last episode.

On the last Entourage, there were jokes about Palestinians and bombs, missing fruit loops, Zac Efron, and a sadly not happening shirtless lunch box featuring him. As it turned out, the break-in to Vince’s (Adrian Grenier) wasn’t exactly a top-level security issue. So does this mean we wouldn’t be seeing the Israeli security people?

Elsewhere on the episode, Ashley woke up on E’s bed, but the two still continued to have trust issues (not the least due to E calling her Sloan on one occasion). Ashley being a girl was trying to decipher the minutest details of a phone call, but later on gave up. These two really need to make up their minds about each other.

Meanwhile, thanks to Ari stealing Zac Efron away from him, Adam Davies sort of tried to steal Lloyd away from Ari by offering him an agent job. While he wasn’t initially too eager to accept the offer, Ari just pushed it this time, and after getting rear-ended, Lloyd decided to finally, finally have the balls to scream at Ari.

Vince and the guys are clearly struggling with the pressure the security team is putting on living at the home.  I mean, someone ate their fruit loops!  Not cool.  E comes to join the guys at the fitting for Vince’s new Frank Darabont film, and Aaron (the new security guy) tells them they have to moving the fitting to his house for secruity reasons.  Frank Darabont (famous director of The Shawshank Redemption) is present at the fitting and encourages Vinnie to head home.  When Frank Darabont speaks, you listen.  Apparently.

The guys get home and they feel cooped up all day.  Drama, who’s in hideous makeup from his Five Towns shoot as a result of pissing off the boss, decides to go reneagade when he finds out the stalker works The Pleasure Chest, a place he frequents.  Drama heads in to confront the jackass.  Meanwhile, Turtle finds out at school from a bunch of giggling girls that they broke into his house to “steal the underwear of Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s boyfriend” for a sorority rush prank.  Drama aborts mission and heads back with way too many bags from the store.

Meanwhile, E is slowly discovering what the rest of us already know… Ashley is bad #@%$ crazy.  She is first jealous when Eric gets a cryptic message to meet up with the boys for the fitting.  She later goes to visit him at work and then even gets jealous about his assistant.  Crazy pants.

Ari gets a phonecall from his old rival, Adam Davies, announcing that he’s being promoted.  Ari, meanwhile, decides to retaliate by stealing his biggest client… Zac Efron!  Poor Lloyd, however, is still being tormented by Ari when he receives an offer to be an agent with a three year guarantee from Davies.  Lloyd initially turns it down until he finds out from Ari that he plans on raising his hazing period an additionally 50 days for back talking.  After Lloyd ends up in a car accident while getting Ari’s car cleaned, he loses it and quits and leaves the car in the middle of the road.  So long Lloyd.  We’re introduced to Ari’s new assistant, a temp.

First of all, I’d like to apologize for the lack of an Entourage recap for episode 6.08 “The Sorkin Notes.” I was unable to watch the entire episode, in time, though I’ve since been able to catch the episode.

Having said that, I want to continue by saying OH MY GOD IT FINALLY HAPPENED. After years of taking abuse from Ari, Lloyd has left. He’s quit, leaving Ari stranded high and dry with a new assistant. Why is Entourage such a downer these days? I came out of the episode just feeling depressed that one of television’s best comedic duos has been split up. However, I’m reassured by the fact that it’s almost a certainty they’ll get back together.

The episode starts off with an annoyed Turtle waking up to the new security guys telling jokes and laughing outside his window, rather loudly. Unable to sleep, he begrudgingly gets up, going downstairs to discover that Vince has already been awakened as well. Drama shows up moments later, wearing makeup for his television show because he has a shoot that night, and he doesn’t want to endure the painfully tedious makeup process again. He’ll be wearing the makeup throughout the day — and it’s of a battery acid burn covering half his face. “You’ve got two bad sides now,” jokes Turtle.

Meanwhile the head security honcho shows up with information on the man whose driver’s liscence was found in his couch. The man, Curtis Tucker, was apparently a childhood arsonist, though never convicted. Vince is reassured that he needs the security guys.

Meanwhile, Turtle calls Eric so that he can accompany Vince to the fitting. Eric’s in bed with Ashley, and due to Drama’s inappropriate comments is very terse on the phone. Ashley questions him afterward, grilling him on who called. He convinces her that it was Turtle and Drama, but she still checks his caller ID after he leaves.

Meanwhile, Ari greets Lloyd with the news that Adam Davies has been promoted to the head of his talent agency. As a gift, Ari steals Zac Efron from Davies and takes him on as a client. Efron is happy to be Ari’s client as long as Ari buys him a car, though he is disturbed by the mother who is following him around, much to her young daughter’s chagrin.

While at the fitting, Eric shares with his friends Ashley’s insecurities, but they tell him that he simple needs to earn back her trust. When director Frank Darabont shows up, he is startled by the security guys around them, but when Vince tells him about the stalker threat, he becomes serious, telling him about an incident that happened after The Shawshank Redemption, where he was forced to shoot someone who threatened him. He offers Vince a gun, but after remembering the incident with Johnny shooting out a window, Vince turns him down. He instead returns home to finish the fitting there.

Adam calls Lloyd to offer him a job as an agent. Lloyd, however, feels like he’s being used, and he declines, though he begins to reconsider after suffering numerous abuses from Ari.

Meanwhile, the head security guy has found out that Curtis Tucker, the stalker suspect, wrks at a Please Chest sex store, a place that Drama is very familiar with. He calls a cashier there, and she tells him when Curtis will be coming in to work, and Drama vows to be there then.

Lloyd finally tells Ari that he recieved a job offer, and when he tries to make sure he and Ari are still on the right track, Ari begins adding days to Lloyd’s fifty remaining days, and begins increasing Lloyd’s workload, eventually causing Lloyd to leave after an accidental car accident with Ari’s car.

Meanwhile, Ashley calls E to ask where he is, because he isn’t at work, he’s at Vince’s. Drama, meanwhile, confronts Curtis at the Pleasure Chest, though Curtis has no idea what Drama is talking about. Turtle, having discovered that the break-in was a sorority prank in order for a group of girls to wear Jamie-Lynn Seigler’s boyfriend’s underwear, finally reaches Drama to inform him, and Drama discovers that Curtis’ liscense was in the couch because he was the former owner of the couch.

Ari meets his replacement for Lloyd, Craig, and is abusive to him as well, claiming to have killed Lloyd. As Craig leaves and begins his new job, Ari stares over at Lloyd’s empty desk, ending the episode on a sad note.
