With season 6 of Entourage
currently in full swing, HBO is shining its vlogging spotlight on one of the series’ most loved but often-sidelined characters - Lloyd, played by Rex Lee. On the show, Lloyd is superstar agent Ari Gold’s (Jeremy Piven) abused but resilient assistant who is currently trying to subsist on water and grapes in an effort to show his boss that he’s already agent material.
Since Entourage
runs for a measly 22 minutes or so, HBO is understandably exploring other campaigns to satisfy the show’s fans. One of which is Lloyd’s blog on the HBO website, with a recent update on how he deals with Ari’s verbal abuse.
“Hello friends,” he opens the video. “I would call you all by your title and last name, if I knew it, for that, among many other lovely things, is what I have been instructed to do by my boss or, excuse me, Mister Finest Agent in the World Ari Gold. It seems that script memorization, favorite drink memorization, steadfast professionalism and debilitating weight loss are not enough to make Mister Finest Agent in the World Ari Gold realize that I am agent material.”
It’s hilarious, as he goes on to how he “translates” Ari’s verbal barbs and enjoy it instead of lashing out. For instance, when Ari calls him “Forrest Hump,” he translates and somehow ends up fantasizing about hankering down in a bunker with Ed Burns, Vin Diesel and Matt Damon using their body heat to stay warm in a cold German night. If you’re curious at how he arrived at the translation, watch the video here.
Lloyd then closes the post by saying, “Another week, another seven lunches of water and grapes.” Funny stuff.

It was Turtle’s 30th birthday and his morning started off great with his mother calling to yell at him and call him a loser for his picture in People. (He was wearing sneakers on the red carpet with Jamie). In better news, Vince gave him the gift of racing four Ferraris on a test track. Oh and giving Turtle a Ferrari after. Turtle then goes home to find out Jamie bought him a Porsche. Rather than being happy, all these things do is make Turtle feel like more of a loser. He decides to push to start his limo service harder. First by hitting up his useless cousin and then by going to Ari for advice on how to raise money. Ari tells him in Ari fashion that he needs to come up with a business plan first. Turtle decides to re-enroll in college for business classes and Drama offers to pay as his gift.

Meanwhile, Eric has own problems with the screening for Charlie’s pilot come up and Ashley just camping out in his house. The last straw is when Ashley watches his pilot and says Charlie sucks. An infuriated Eric goes to meet with the network to basically hear the same thing. They want Charlie off the show. After Ari’s advice, Eric goes in and tells off the network for taking Charlie off, even calling them a racist. After re-watching the pilot with Ashley, he realizes that Charlie does in fact suck. Rather than taking producer credit on the show, Eric decides to withdraw from the show without Charlie’s involvement. Stupid face.

Quotes
Ari: What I’m capable of doing and what you’re capable of doing are two totally different things.
E: So what would you do?
Ari: I would make a scene of biblical proportions. I would lie, scream, beg, borrow, and steal. If that somehow didn’t part Amy Miller’s legs then I would call racism and I would yell for all to hear: “you’re really gonna fire my poor black client
off the show he CREATED? I’m calling the NAACP, The Reverend Sharpton and the ghost of my man, Malcom X!”
E: Awesome. Guess I’m gonna try my own thing.

Following High School Musical heartthrob’s finishing filming a guest spot on Entourage, Jeremy Piven, who plays Hollywood agent Ari Gold on the HBO series, tells E! Online that his next target is to get Dustin Hoffman to appear on the show.

“I’d like to do a scene with Dustin Hoffman where I represent him and he’s my client, and I’m really trying to get him to do a big movie that he’d never do,” Piven said. “That’d be like a dream come true.”
While the two have actually worked together in the 2003 thriller The Runaway Jury, the 44-year-old said he doubts if the Oscar- and Emmy-winning actor remembers him at all.
“I’m friends with his son,” Piven joked, “so I think that Dustin thinks I’m like the pool boy.”
Piven, who celebrated his 44th birthday last Sunday, was last seen in the 2008 British crime film RocknRolla, where he played Lenny’s (Tom Wilkinson) estranged stepson and rock star Johnny’s former record producer Roman.

No, upcoming episodes of Entourage won’t be centered around a debate between evolution and creationism, as this headline sort of implies. Instead, the show’s creator told The New York Post that season six of his HBO series will depict major growth in each of the main characters. “I wanted to reinvent [Entourage] without making it a different show,” Doug Ellin told the newspaper. “I think it has the feeling of Season 1, with more maturity. [The key] characters are finally evolving.”

For example, Eric will move into his own apartment this season. “This is a very eventful season… especially for me,” said actor Kevin Connolly, adding that the goal of paying his own rent will be to win over Sloan once and for all. Meanwhile, Turtle will be spending almost every night alongside Jamie-Lynn Sigler, the actress that plays herself on the show (and is somehow dating actor Jerry Ferrara in real life).
“Turtle’s watching the other guys and learning the business,” said Ferrara. “I think [Ellin] is moving slow with him… But I believe there are going to be a lot of openings for him soon. Deep down, he’s a hustler and it will pay off.” But will he end up with Sigler? A recent on-set photo doesn’t portend a happy ending for this couple.

Less than a couple of weeks before the return of HBO’s Hollywood-themed series Entourage, guest star Emmanuelle Chriqui revealed to New York Daily News that fans of the series will start to see more of her this season as her storylines will venture deeper. For that matter, all the other characters on Entourage will see some change in how their motivations are shaped.

“I feel like all of the characters are evolving this season. Everyone is growing and growing up,” Chriqui says. “Priorities have changed a little bit, which happens in life, and these guys are realizing that there are other things, besides work and movies, that are really important, too.”
Chriqui, 31, who plays Sloan, the on-and-off girlfriend of Kevin Connolly’s Eric, adds that a new dimension of their relationship will be explored this season, which they enter “off.”
“There’s definitely more drama between Eric and Sloan, but that’s really what it’s always been,” she said. “However, this time we discover a lot more about Sloan - who she is, what she does for a living. We get a more in-depth view of who she is than ever before.”
This season of Entourage will be no different from its past five in terms of featured guests. Known for cameos by big stars and athletes, Entourage this season has the likes of Matt Damon, Lebron James, 50 Cent, Zac Efron, Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Aaron Sorkin, Tom Brady, Matt Letscher, William Fichtner and Scott Caan set to drop by.
“It was awesome,” Chriqui said in reference to Damon and James’ filming. “Everyone was so excited to have them there. There was a buzz all day long.”

Brace yourselves, fellas: Emmanuelle Chriqui will be featured prominently on season six of Entourage.
The actress, who plays Eric’s occasional girlfriend Sloan, told The New York Daily News that storylines will run a bit deeper with her character when the show returns on July 12.
“I feel like all of the characters are evolving this season. Everyone is growing and growing up,” Chriqui said. “Priorities have changed a little bit, which happens in life, and these guys are realizing that there are other things, besides work and movies, that are really important, too.”

As for her character specifically?
“There’s definitely more drama between Eric and Sloan, but that’s really what it’s always been,” said Chriqui. “However, this time we discover a lot more about Sloan - who she is, what she does for a living. We get a more in-depth view of who she is than ever before.”
Earlier this week, Matt Damon and LeBron James filmed cameos on the series.

We can confirm that Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrara are still dating in real life. Therefore, the following photo appears to signify the end of this couple’s on-screen relationship, as it was snapped at Los Angeles International Airport. Will Turtle and Jamie-Lynn last long as a couple on season six of Entourage? It doesn’t look that way.

Last season, Sigler guest-starred on Entourage playing herself, as Turtle developed a crush on her and, to the shock of his friends, actually bedded her.
The sixth season debuts on HBO on July 12.

HBO’s Entourage will be a little bit crowded when the new season kicks off in July. Rapper 50 Cent will reportedly join the cast of the series that revolves around Vincent Chase, a young A-list movie star, and his childhood friends from Bayside, Queens, New York City, as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Hollywood, California. According to The Insider, the infamous singer has been spotted filming scenes for the show on Friday, joining cast members Jerry Ferrara, Adrian Grenier and series creator Doug Ellin on the set.
This is not the first time a rapper has graced the show. Entourage has easily carved a niche in the rap community by booking rappers like Kanye West, T.I. and Snoop Dogg. Moreover, both Saigon and Bow Wow have also recurrently appeared on the show.
“50 looked like he was enjoying his time as he drove on the streets of Los Angeles in a white convertible Rolls Royce,” The Insider reported, adding that the rapper’s episode is set to air in August.
As of this moment, however, 50 Cent’s participation on Entourage is not yet known.
This is the latest casting news for Entourage’s sixth season. Gary Cole has been confirmed to be joining the cast as a regular for the new season while Lil’ Wayne is expected to appear in an episode as himself. Also guest starring are Tom Brady, Autumn Reeser, and Swarnendra Verma.
More recently, it has also been announced that Matt Letscher, who last starred in Eli Stone, Prison Break star William Fichtner, and Scott Caan, who is credited for Oceans Eleven, will also be getting multi-episode arcs on Entourage. High School Musical star Zac Efron is also set to appear.
Aside from Entourage, 50 Cent has also been cast in several upcoming movies such as Streets of Blood, Dead Man Running, Spectacular Regret, The Dance, The Ski Mask Way, and Twelve.
